What is needed for my template?
The template is the first time we will visit your property ahead of the installation. This is where we get an accurate digital impression of your kitchen to ensure that your worktops are manufactured exactly to specification. We have a twelve point plan which we direct our customers to to ensure they know what to expect.
It is crucial that these steps are followed to allow our fitters and templaters to complete the task at hand with minimal obstacles, and therefore maximum accuracy. We ask all our trade partners to ensure that customers are aware of our expectations well ahead of our visit.
How long will my template appointment take?
Typically between 1.5 and 3 hours. This is dependant on the templater and the kitchen design, but you should always try to allow for more time than we will need. A bit of breathing room in our appointment time means we can take additional or duplicate measurements if we feel these might be needed.
When will my template be arranged?
We operate our template service on a timeslot basis, which we confirm to our trade partners. You should be notified of your appointment time by the company who you bought the worktops from. Our timeslots are 08:00-11:00 (slot 1), 11:00-14:00 (slot 2), and 14:00-17:00 (slot 3). These slots are estimated times of arrival, and can vary based on complexity of previous jobs, traffic conditions, and proximity of our most local templater. If our expected arrival time differs significantly to what was originally quoted, we’ll usually try to contact you.
