Site development plans approved at Sheridan

Sheridan Fabrications Ltd have acquired approval to develop their current manufacturing site, based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. The workshops will increase by a further 40 000sq/ft, with completion due March 2008.
Sheridan Fabrications Ltd is the leading manufacturer of worktops within in the UK and the largest manufacturer of premium worksurfaces in Europe. Improvements to the manufacturing site will create an opportunity to venture further a field and look at new products including concrete and glass along with new technologies and surface finishes. This will add to the portfolio of already successful products available.
With an additional £750K invested on state of the art machinery, the new site will create a working space that will help reduce lead times, boost productivity, increase storage and dispatch facilities. The new expansion will generate over 100 jobs during the next year with soaring demand for solid surface, timber, natural and engineered stone worktops, Sheridan Fabrications Ltd anticipate an increased turnover in excess of £30 million by 2010.
