Worksurfaces used within the catering industry are particularly important in creating a comfortable ambiance and giving a fresh, clean and hygienic appearance. Corian® solid surfaces are particularly appropriate for food service applications and can be used in prep areas and where food will routinely come into contact with the surface.
Corian® not only has the design credentials needed, it is also inherently hygienic. It recently became the only material (along with DuPont Zodiaq®) to be awarded a hygiene certificate by LGA QualiTest GmbH, the prestigious German independent product-testing centre.
